This book is considered one of the main sources of Buddhism. It influenced Confucius (younger than Lao Tse).
Lao-Tse was also known as Tai-Shan-Lao-Chun. He was born in Lu-Yi, in the eastern part of the province of Honan.It was during the decadent dinasty Chou. Once he finished his only book, he disappeared not to be found again.
